Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the program's success, fostering and managing partner relationships to enhance the program's impact.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across diverse teams, translating ambiguous scientific and engineering objectives into clear milestones.
  • Draft functional specifications, design systems, resolve complex technical challenges, collaborate with various teams, and deliver solutions effectively and promptly.
  • Oversee communication regarding project delivery with senior leadership and partner organizations, including the preparation of review documents, newsletters, and wiki pages.
  • Anticipate potential bottlenecks and balance business requirements against technical constraints to expedite project progress.
  • Manage resource allocation across all projects within technical teams, ensuring a balanced overall program roadmap.

Qualifications:

A successful candidate will possess extensive technical and software knowledge, strong project management capabilities, sound judgment, and a desire to create a significant industry impact. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within a large organization to swiftly deliver services with broad business implications is essential.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience collaborating directly with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working closely with software engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in an agile and/or scrum environment.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, developing sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
