As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering sound patient care practices, completing ancillary tasks, and maintaining equipment and work areas in a neat and safe condition. You will also provide clinical services according to Nuclear Medicine practice standards and act as a resource to Nuclear Medicine students and other technologists.

Key Responsibilities:

* Demonstrates acquisition and exercise of new skills, displaying progress in level of functionality
* Communicates effectively with mentor(s) and demonstrates greater independence and decision-making ability
* Adheres to department policies and protocols by ensuring all examinations are optimized for interpretation
* Demonstrates the ability and skills to assist with adhering to radiography principles
* Demonstrates the effective use of radiation protection procedures with collimation devices and protective shielding

Requirements for Consideration:

* Graduate of an accredited Associate's school/program of Nuclear Medicine Technology
* ARRT-N or CNMT obtained within one year of hire date
* NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within one year of hire date
* Registered State Inspector - Virginia within 3 months
* Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student
* Basic Life Support upon start
