Job Description

Captain Planet Foundation Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Chief Operating Officer - Program Management. This position is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the organization's programs, ensuring they are aligned with the company's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of program strategies, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Direct supervision of program staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program execution.
  • Collaborate with the President and development staff to develop and implement fundraising strategies, including grant writing and corporate partnerships.
  • Manage program grant deliverables, deadlines, and reporting, ensuring compliance with granting agency requirements.
  • Recruit and manage assessment teams, as required by granting agencies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external program partners, ensuring effective partnerships and program outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (required), MA (a plus); and 7-9+ years program experience.
  • Proven experience coordinating and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to self-manage, organize time, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
  • Understanding of grants administration of programmatic funding & reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to collaborate.
  • Sense of humor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience presenting and speaking.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred; knowledge of CSM systems; strong contacts in environmental or education funding a plus.
