As a Temporary Structure Installer, your role will involve the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures utilizing powered machinery, various lifting devices, and hand tools. You will be responsible for constructing and taking down tent structures in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the installation and dismantling of temporary structures using powered machinery, diverse lifting equipment, and hand tools.
  • Assemble various tent configurations following manufacturer guidelines, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct inspections of tents and related accessories for any damages prior to removal.
  • Properly load and unload equipment at job sites.
  • This is an entry-level position.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations is preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel for up to 3 days away from home.
  • Must successfully pass DISA screening.

This position is classified as Safety Sensitive in accordance with United Rentals' policies.
