We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns ranging from simple to complex, identifying potential tax saving opportunities, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive interviews with clients to ensure all necessary information is collected.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed tax returns.
  • Identify and recommend tax saving opportunities, deductions, and credits.
  • Work with the accounting staff to complete books and prepare accurate returns for business clients.
  • Assist with IRS and State tax audits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of verifiable tax preparation experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in tax preparation software, including Lacerte.
