Columbia Memorial Hospital Seeks Financial Leader

Columbia Memorial Hospital is seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead its financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, general accounting, and budgeting, with experience in acute-hospital facilities.

Job Summary

The Director of Finance will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and coordinating the hospital's financial services and functions. This includes general accounting, supply chain management, internal control, external audits, rolling forecasting, budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, tax filings, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will advise department leaders on revenue enhancement and cost control strategies and support the hospital's Business Intelligence function by ensuring timely and reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance revenue and control costs
  • Oversee general accounting, supply chain management, and internal control functions
  • Coordinate external audits, rolling forecasting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cost reporting and tax filings
  • Advise department leaders on financial matters and support the Business Intelligence function

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in hospital financial management, including 3+ years in managerial positions
  • CPA, FHFMA, CHFP preferred
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
