Competitive Hourly Rate: $25-$35 per hour

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fire Safety Specialist to join our team in Eau Claire, WI. As a key member of our service team, you will troubleshoot, service, and install fire and life safety systems while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including brief descriptions of equipment/system malfunctions
  • Contact customer representatives and ascertain equipment/system problems
  • Repair equipment and perform system maintenance
  • Service, troubleshoot, and install various manufacturers' fire & life safety systems, including SimplexGrinnell
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with district staff and customers
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as smartphones and laptop computers
  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and help train or mentor others on the service team
  • Maintain valid Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter License and knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
  • Capable of performing physical labor, carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
  • Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements
  • Overnight travel may be required

Requirements:

  • Valid Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter License
  • Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
  • Capable of performing physical labor
  • Strong customer service skills
