Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Truck Operator to join our team at Ryder System. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled driver to work locally and return home daily.

Compensation Details:

Our drivers enjoy competitive weekly earnings of approximately $1300, with a guaranteed minimum of $1200 per week. The pay structure includes:
  • Solo Mileage Compensation: $0.53 per mile, averaging 1200 miles weekly.
  • Stop Compensation: $14.46 per stop, with an average of 25 stops weekly.

Work Schedule:

This position typically operates Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts. Start times range from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Class A CDL Truck Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering freight securely to various locations within Central PA, MD, and Northern VA.
  • Maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
  • Accurately logging driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
  • Loading and unloading freight as required.

Equipment and Training:

Ryder provides comprehensive training on all necessary equipment. Our fleet consists of modern trucks, ensuring a reliable and efficient driving experience.
