Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Neuroimmunology Specialist to join our team at the School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care, teaching medical students and housestaff, and participating in clinical research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Teaching Responsibilities: Teach medical students and housestaff, participate in formal conferences, and lecture on occasion.
  • Research Responsibilities: Participate in and lead clinical research and clinical trials in the Division of MS/Neuroimmunology.
  • Service Responsibilities: Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees, as well as in a professional capacity in their field.
Requirements
  • MD or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent)
  • BC/BE in Neurology
  • Completion of a Neuroimmunology/MS Fellowship Training Program
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
