We are seeking a highly skilled Neuroimmunologist to join our team at VCU Health. As a key member of our Department of Neurology, you will play a vital role in providing state-of-the-art comprehensive patient-centered neurological care for adults.

Position Responsibilities

Clinical

As a Neuroimmunologist, you will be responsible for providing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders.

Teaching

You will teach medical students and housestaff, participating in formal conferences and lectures to emphasize issues in MS/Neuroimmunology. Your contributions will be invaluable in shaping the next generation of neurologists.

Research

The Division of MS/Neuroimmunology is engaged in clinical and translational research projects. As a faculty member, you will participate in and lead clinical research and clinical trials, advancing our understanding of neurological disorders.

Service

You will serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees as necessary, contributing to the growth and development of our institution.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent)
  • BC/BE in Neurology
  • Completion of a Neuroimmunology/MS Fellowship Training Program
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
