Nurse Specialist in Women's Health

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the Northland region.
About the RoleThis full-time position is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Women's Health and Birth Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including pre- and postpartum care, labor and delivery, and postoperative care.
- Evaluate patient needs and develop personalized care plans to address their unique health concerns.
- Implement interventions and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid RN license in Minnesota and current BLS certification.
- At least one year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field within the past two years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required and maintain certification.
- NRP certification or attend NRP within three months of employment and maintain certification.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring course completion preferred or complete within six months of employment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
