We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oral Health Specialist to join our dynamic team at Quincy Dental. This role plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional dental care to patients, making it an excellent fit for those passionate about improving oral health.
About the Role
This position involves working closely with our dentist to provide top-notch care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth. You'll also take digital dental X-rays, apply preventive materials like sealants and fluoride treatments, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Responsibilities
- Performing routine cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Taking high-quality digital dental X-rays
- Applying preventive materials like sealants and fluoride treatments
- Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and proper care
- Reviewing patient medical histories and recording information
- Assisting with patient comfort and care during procedures
- Sterilizing dental instruments and maintaining a clean workspace
Requirements
- Valid state Dental Hygienist license (required)
- Strong knowledge of dental practices, procedures, and hygiene protocols
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
