Job Summary

Vinfen is seeking a Support Specialist - Brain Injury to provide direct support to individuals with brain injury in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral conditions, and/or brain injury.



Responsibilities




  • Implement treatment plans and assist individuals with activities of daily living
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP)
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals with brain injury
  • Nightly cleaning and filing


Requirements




  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a human services related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral conditions, and/or brain injury strongly preferred
  • Strong time management and writing skills
  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year
  • All applicants must be able to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment
  • Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, and driving record check
