Catering Team Leader - Chartwells

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Catering Team Leader who is enthusiastic about delivering outstanding culinary experiences and top-notch customer service. This role involves overseeing all catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, with a commitment of 30 hours per week.

As a Catering Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of our kitchens and service areas, contributing to remarkable food experiences. Your typical work schedule will include:

  • Monday: Full-time (Days)
  • Tuesday: Full-time (Days)
  • Wednesday: Full-time (Days)
  • Thursday: Full-time (Days)
  • Friday: Full-time (Days)
  • Saturday: Off
  • Sunday: Off

This position is contracted for 43 weeks per year.

As a Catering Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing high-quality meals that meet our standards
  • Supervising culinary and catering staff to ensure exceptional food and service
  • Regularly communicating with management to track performance metrics
  • Upholding the brand image of Chartwells
  • Acting as a liaison between customers and our culinary teams to exceed expectations
  • Training and supporting team members to help them excel
  • Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards for compliance.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about delicious food and outstanding customer service
  • Have at least two years of experience in catering
  • Possess experience in a supervisory role
  • Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Be a motivated individual eager to develop professionally
