Job Summary

HHS is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Hospital Housekeepers and Floor Technicians. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning procedures in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Operate floor care equipment, such as buffers and extractors, to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Respond to housekeeping pages and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate with the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director to ensure seamless work scheduling and communication
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain a high level of cleaning quality and efficiency

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently and push/pull a maid cart or linen cart continuously throughout a shift
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
  • Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used in the cleaning process
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed
  • Must have strong communication skills in English
