Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, support, and property division.
  • Handle all phases of family law litigation, from pleadings and discovery to settlement negotiations, trials, and post-judgment matters.
  • Present persuasive arguments in court, upholding ethical and professional standards in all interactions and legal proceedings.
  • Lead negotiations and mediation on behalf of clients, striving to reach amicable resolutions that align with their goals and best interests.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee case strategies tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients by providing compassionate, responsive, and comprehensive legal service.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland, with ideal candidates also licensed in DC and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Maryland and/or DC family law.
  • Proven courtroom experience and skills in litigating and negotiating.
  • Collaborative and independent, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-focused and compassionate, with a deep commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.
