Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in mechanical systems to join our team at WorkSmart Direct. As a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing optimal manufacturing processes and methods.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost-effective designs, manufacturing processes, and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct process evaluations, including production flow, assembly methods, and waste elimination.
  • Design and develop new and sustaining manufacturing processes and tool design.
  • Maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
  • Lead the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results.
  • Develop, test, or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
  • Provide technical support to other departments as required to meet customer needs.
  • Analyze product/process for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for engineering and technical support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a strong background in mechanical systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCad and/or Solid works, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead others.
  • Integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
