Qualifications

  • in Mechanical Engineering

  • to identify, communicate and participate in process improvement opportunities (LEAN) aimed at reducing cost, improving efficiencies and increasing customer satisfaction

  • with GD&T, material specification, surface finishing requirements and manufacturing techniques (milling, turning, and welding, surface treatments)
  • work experience managing projects


Responsibilities

  • and implements optimal, cost-effective designs, manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards
  • and implements improvements to product, production processes, methods and controls
  • include project management, process improvement, problem resolution, and employee training
  • research, design and development of new and sustaining manufacturing processes and tool design
  • process evaluations including production flow, assembly methods and waste elimination
  • and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment
  • the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results
  • develops, tests or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
  • for providing creative and innovative engineering solutions that aid in the resolution of field and manufacturing problems and in the maintenance and improvement of existing products
  • for implementing all phases of project plans and monitoring progress per established schedule and budget targets
  • for maintaining good relationships with customers, field personnel and other company departments to ensure the most efficient working environment
  • technical support to other departments as required toward meeting the needs of our customers
  • product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency improvement
