The University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) is seeking a highly qualified Executive Director to lead the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center. This is a key leadership position that will drive innovation and excellence in teaching across the university.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance teaching and learning at UCLA.
- Oversee the management of the Teaching and Learning Center, including budgeting, personnel supervision, and program execution.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to design and deliver programs and services that support teaching and learning.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with academic departments, colleges, and other units to advance teaching and learning initiatives.
- Represent the Teaching and Learning Center on university-wide committees and projects.
- Terminal degree in a relevant field.
- 8-10 years of experience in academic administration, preferably in a teaching and learning center or similar setting.
- Experience in managing budgets, personnel, and programs.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to teach courses as assigned by the Vice Provost.
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the university level.
- Experience in managing a teaching and learning center, including program execution and assessment.
- Ability to interact effectively with and manage large groups of faculty, staff, and students.
