We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from critical care to general medical-surgical units.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with our experienced nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in step-down unit care will enable you to provide high-quality support to patients recovering from intensive care. With a focus on collaboration and effective communication, you will play a vital part in our patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as required
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license
  • BLS certification (and any other facility-specific requirements)
  • At least two years of recent experience in a step-down unit setting
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
