We are currently in search of a para-transit Operator to ensure safe and reliable passenger transport while addressing daily transportation requirements. Our organization provides comprehensive training, uniforms, vehicles, and communication devices. Additionally, we offer a competitive compensation package, inclusive of paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation time. The ideal candidate should possess over three years of driving experience, a clean driving record, a thorough background check, and demonstrate effective communication and empathy. Familiarity with operating a motorized lift is a plus, as training will be provided for this task.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transporting clients to their designated locations in a timely manner
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers
- Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and safe condition
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Effectively communicating with both staff and passengers
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- A minimum of three (3) years of driving experience is required
- Knowledge of and adherence to driving laws, ordinances, and regulations
- Professional and respectful demeanor towards clients of all backgrounds
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check
