Main Responsibilities:

  • Examine prescriptions from healthcare providers to verify accuracy and assess the necessary components and formulations.
  • Prepare both sterile and non-sterile medications by following established protocols, including precise measurement and mixing of ingredients.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff engaged in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of medications, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure the accurate processing of prescription orders and the timely delivery of medications.
  • Dispense medications and provide guidance to healthcare staff regarding prescription and over-the-counter drugs, as well as medication therapy.
  • Educate nursing facility personnel on general health matters, including nutrition, physical activity, and stress management, while also offering insights on medical supplies and home healthcare products.

Work Environment:
