Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Trailer Assembler to join our team in Carlisle, PA. As a Trailer Assembler, you will play a critical role in the final assembly of custom-designed, custom-made heavy haul trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize the assembly of heavy haul trailers from blueprints, utilizing hand and power tools to ensure safe operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve trailer assembly goals.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in trailer assembly, including hydraulic fittings, control wiring, installation, and pneumatics.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills in paint prep/blasting, welding/fabrication, and crane usage.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and utilizing tape measures.
  • Experience with hydraulic fittings, control wiring, installation, and pneumatics.
  • Basic mechanical skills, including steering components and wheel installation.
  • Ability to work from blueprints and utilize hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
