Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Computed Tomography Technologist in a travel position.

About the Job

This 13-week contract offers a challenging opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring accurate image acquisition and interpretation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in CT scanning, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. You should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Position patients correctly for scanning and explain procedures to patients
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Evaluate CT scans for quality and accuracy
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in CT scanning
  • ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • BLS certification
