Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Lead is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provisioning, installation, and configuration of system hardware, servers, and cloud servers
  • Managing VPN/firewall rules configurations, enabling SSO, and installing certificates
  • Configuring load balance and related infrastructure to support business operations
  • Maintaining company Windows servers and VMware platform in Corporate and business unit environments
  • Managing Active Directory, DNS, and user accounts
  • Implementing server and storage consolidation/migration/archiving as necessary
  • Following security standards for patching servers, VMware, devices, and systems
  • Building, testing, and maintaining new virtual servers
  • Performing root cause analysis of tickets raised and creating action plans to resolve problems
  • Monitoring and maintaining virtual servers, Hyperflex, and UCS environments
  • Managing and maintaining on-premises Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365 environments
  • Implementing security directives and procedures to prevent potential threats
  • Responding to alerts/alarms and escalations according to standard operating procedures
  • Installing operating systems and updating them as required
  • Installing end-user software using installation packages
  • Maintaining server accessibility, integrity, and recoverability
  • Resolving performance problems and recovering from system outages
  • Managing/supporting field & Mobile device equipment and deployments
  • Implementing Single Sign On as needed
  • Helping manage and implement Security (SSL) Certificates

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of IT experience as an IT Systems Administrator
  • 5+ years of IT experience and be certified to work with VMware, Active Directory/LDAP, AADP, SSO, and Windows Server Systems Administration
  • Bachelor's degree or experience in Information Technology related field of study with a network engineering focus
  • Professional certifications a plus (VCP, MSCA, Microsoft Certified Azure administrator)
  • Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely both spoken and written
  • Ability to multi-task, analyze, and solve problems quickly with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with vendors and consultants
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid Driver's license as travel will be required from time to time based on the needs of the business
  • Ability to multitask and work on several priorities concurrent
