Cloud Infrastructure Lead

Job Summary:

This position will serve as a lead subject matter expert for the Infrastructure department, overseeing all tasks, projects, and support related to the Bank's Cloud environment.

As a key member of the team, you will provide backup support for other areas of focus within the Infrastructure department and work closely with the Senior Manager of Infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and performance of the Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programs and procedures to enhance Cloud/LAN/WAN operation and performance, as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological changes for Cloud/LAN/WAN products and make recommendations for those products that may benefit the Bank.
  • Perform or assist in formal assessments or audits of the Cloud and network infrastructure.
  • Perform Cloud/LAN/WAN related assignments, such as budget assistance, preventive maintenance issues, and support for hardware and operating systems acquired in the future.
  • Fulfill administrative reporting requirements, including performance statistics reporting.
  • Attend classes and trade shows related to the Cloud industry.
  • Configure, implement, maintain, distribute, and document network hardware and software.
  • Monitor, manage, and document Cloud connectivity performance.
  • Report significant capacity issues in a timely manner to the Senior Manager of Infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures.
  • Provide second-level end-user support as needed.
  • Act as an internal consultant to other IT functions and business groups as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in installation and support of Cloud-based services (AWS).
  • 10+ years of experience in installation and support of information network and storage solutions, including administration experience in a WINDOWS platform environment.
  • Implementing and supporting networked environments, enterprise storage and SAN environments, and selecting, implementing, and supporting third-party vendor solutions.
  • Experience leading in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Bank's systems and architecture.
  • Strong experience with formal Disaster Recovery planning and processes.
  • Experience in a colocation environment.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or computer science preferred. Professional experience and/or certifications will be considered in lieu of education.
