Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Care Specialist to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a Residential Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to clients, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and promoting a safe and healthy environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Assist with the admission process, including conducting thorough searches of clients' belongings and properly disposing of any prohibited items.
  • Participate in facility quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improved client experience.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to discussions on client care and facility operations.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete training in CPR, First Aid, and behavior intervention techniques.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform general household upkeep and maintenance.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of diplomacy and political awareness.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines.
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
