Job Title: Registered Nurse - Residential

Mount Sinai Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in our residential facility in Dahlonega, GA. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete admission procedures, including paperwork and orientation of individuals
  • Search individuals' belongings upon admission and dispose of forbidden items
  • Administer and read tuberculosis skin tests
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Provide direct care to patients, including monitoring for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal
  • Manage and administer medication as ordered by the Medical Director
  • Develop treatment plans with patients to address medical issues
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients
  • Consult with in-house staff and outside professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide referrals for patients' identified needs
Qualifications:
  • Unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of Georgia
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens
  • 1 year of detox, emergency, or med-surge nursing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical detoxification for substance abuse and signs and symptoms of substance intoxication and withdrawal
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse population
  • Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the position and respond to crisis situations
