Aircraft Maintenance Inspector

As a Quality Assurance Inspector at GAL AeroStaff Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring that all airworthiness quality requirements are performed and documented in accordance with all applicable regulations. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all airworthiness quality requirements are performed and documented in accordance with all applicable regulations.
- Conduct weighing procedures in accordance with manufacturers' recommended practices and procedures.
- Obtain associated documentation, complete aircraft records, and document receipt upon arrival.
- Coordinate inspection activities in compliance with computer tracking maintenance programs.
- Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision tools, equipment, and other materials in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all work packages, records of arrival, maintenance, and corrective actions performed are documented accurately.
- Research aircraft drawings and technical data.
- Perform walk-around inspections of aircraft for release from maintenance.
- Provide data to customers as requested.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of corporate/commercial jet experience.
- A&P Certification.
- Ability to use a variety of measuring and basic hand tools to interpret/operate test equipment.
- Ability to interpret/process all relative (foreign & domestic) regulatory documents, actions, and requirements.
- Working knowledge of FAA Regs, CAA, RSM/QCM, ADs, SBs, TCDS, etc.
- Working knowledge of return-to-service procedures.
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor employees in performance of their duties in areas of qualification.
