Position Overview:

The Warehouse Material Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials within our production facility. This position involves managing inventory transactions and conducting audits to maintain accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials to and from production areas efficiently
  • Maintain organized and stocked inventory on the production floor
  • Record transactions accurately and complete necessary documentation
  • Verify inventory accuracy within designated locations
  • Assist in inventory recounts during scheduled counts
  • Collaborate with Receiving and Operations teams to address urgent inventory needs
  • Restock picking locations daily and ensure proper stock rotation
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Support teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Cross-train to assist in various departments as needed
  • Serve as a backup for the Shipping Department when required
  • Possess a minimum of three months of relevant experience in inventory management
  • Demonstrate proficiency in material flow and inventory systems
  • Utilize various equipment and tools safely and effectively
  • Lift weights up to 45 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments
  • Preferred experience of 2+ years in warehouse or material handling roles

Experience:

Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
