A dynamic Emergency Medicine Specialist is sought to provide day, night, and weekend in-house coverage at a Level 2 trauma center in Central Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside other Advanced Practice Providers during the day and with an in-house physician at night.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, including basic suture techniques, chest tube placement, arterial line management, and central line insertion. Experience with phone consults and high-volume patient care is also essential.
Responsibilities:
* Provide in-house coverage for emergency medicine services, ensuring seamless patient care during day, night, and weekend shifts.
* Collaborate with other APPs and physicians to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
* Conduct phone consults, managing patient needs and providing guidance as required.
* Care for a minimum of 10 patients per shift, prioritizing timely admissions and effective resource allocation.
* Ensure compliance with PA state licensing requirements, maintaining current DEA certification and ATLS training.
We offer a competitive estimated salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide benefits that align with industry standards.
