Nurse First is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including angiographic equipment, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including positioning, monitoring, and communication.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
