The Sales Key Holder is a vital member of our team at American Freight, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Sales Key Holder, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing personalized service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers are aware of our product lines and creating a positive shopping experience.
  • Boost store sales through exceptional customer service, selling, and team building skills.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge of our furniture, mattresses, and appliance lines, competitor's products, current advertising, and marketing initiatives.
  • Achieve individual targets for all miscellaneous revenue, including Protection Agreements, fabric protection, leasing, credit, delivery, and installation.
  • Ensure inventory is available for customer orders.
  • Ring sales through the POS system.
  • Maintain the sales floor standards, including floor recovery, housekeeping, and presentation standards in the unit.
  • Assist with loading customer vehicles and staging items for delivery; fulfill orders systematically.
  • Complete all required training sessions and courses.
  • Serve as a key carrier, perform store opening and closing tasks.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Sales experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to excel in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lift at least lbs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent relationship building, communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
  • Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong drive for results.
