Job Summary

The IPEX Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Machine Operator - Injection Molding to support our injection molding machinery and facility maintenance activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with experience in machining and tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance activities on injection molding machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Use precision measuring devices, such as calipers and micrometers, to inspect and measure tooling and components.
  • Repair, rebuild, and modify existing tooling with minimal supervision.
  • Change basic mold components and determine if they require replacement.
  • Polish tooling, repair parting lines, and fix shutoffs to maintain tooling integrity.
  • Develop solutions to problems and suggest improvements to enhance tooling robustness and product quality.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in machining, preferably with injection molds, or currently taking machining coursework.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform advanced mathematics.
  • Knowledge of shop fabrication equipment and tooling design.
  • Successful candidate must complete a background check.
Working Conditions

This role requires good mobility and involves routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced, and the individual must be able to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
