Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct housekeeping tasks assigned to room attendants and housepersons.
  • Inspect and update the status of all rooms and areas assigned.
  • Turn in ready rooms to the computer as soon as they become available.
  • Turn in discrepancies with the front desk daily before the end of shift.
  • Turn in maintenance requests daily.
  • Assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderly conduct on floors.
  • Participate in general cleaning tasks such as turning mattresses and removing sheers and drapes.
  • Provide visibility and assistance to guests.
  • Assist in maintaining supply inventories.
Requirements:
  • A minimum formal education of a high school diploma and one year of job-related experience.
  • Previous hotel/resort experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to speak conversational English.
  • Must be able to abide by the company appearance standards and compliance with the designated uniform.
  • Dedicated to exceeding service standards and providing services and standards to the highest caliber.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively, effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds at all levels of the organization.
  • A Monday-Sunday schedule that allows availability days, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and work the majority of shift on feet.
  • Frequently required to talk or hear.
