Data Privacy Associate

Job Summary:This role supports the day-to-day activities of engagements, including interaction with team members, subject matter experts, and client contacts. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating consistent and thorough documentation to support project processes, managing time and tasks to meet internal and external deadlines, and providing input into client communications.

- Provide input into client communications, both written and oral.
- Develop, review, and edit information security policies and procedures.
- Supervise appropriate personnel, including less experienced consultants, client personnel, and clerical support.
- Perform and support risk, cyber, privacy, and technical network assessments.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Analytics, Management, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security, Risk Management, or similar areas.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and motivation to succeed.
- Ability to deliver solution strategies and implementations to clients.
- Strong risk management and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including detailed note-taking abilities.
- Understanding of how to leverage existing security applications and appliances to address client-specific requirements.
- Prior experience working in the Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Compliance space.
- Functional understanding of Network Architecture, Design, and Security Best Practices.
- Knowledge of various data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Prior experience implementing GDPR and/or CCPA projects.
- Experience with data mapping using tools such as OneTrust.
- Development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with Cloud Security Alliance Framework and NIST or ISO frameworks.
