PlasticStaffing is seeking skilled maintenance technicians to ensure the smooth functioning of our injection molding operations. The technician will play a crucial role in the upkeep, repair, and optimal performance of machinery and equipment within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure new injection molding machines, electrical systems, service tools, and power wiring.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment to guarantee peak performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components, including pumps, motors, valves, sensors, and PLCs.
  • Respond to equipment malfunctions promptly, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, parts utilized, and modifications made to machinery.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting injection molding machinery or production automation.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and schematics; welding skills are advantageous.
  • Experience in resolving issues related to electrical systems, PLC controls, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in plastic molding technology.
  • Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
