Med-Surg Float Pool



As a valued member of the Saint Peter's Healthcare System team, we invite experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Med-Surg Float Pool. This rewarding role offers a unique opportunity to work in various settings, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a talented nursing team.



Responsibilities:

  • Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards, ensuring timely and accurate interventions.

  • Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.

  • Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Meticulously document all aspects of patient care, promoting transparency and effective communication among healthcare providers.



Requirements

We seek a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse who meets the following qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey, adhering to the highest standards of professional practice.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire date, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association, ensuring immediate response to emergency situations.
  • ECG certification obtained during clinical orientation, enhancing critical thinking and decision-making skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $126,000, reflecting the value we place on your expertise and contributions to our healthcare system.
