Medical Professional Seeking Experienced Nurse Practitioner

The Albany Medical Center is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed team. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves working as part of our OBGYN General department, providing medical services and support to patients during their day-to-day interactions. As a skilled nurse practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing effective care strategies.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with attending physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care is provided to each patient. Your expertise and knowledge will be essential in managing patient cases and contributing to the overall success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, collecting clinical data, and preparing patients for tests or treatments.
- Analyze medical laboratory test results, diagnose medical conditions, and administer medications or treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, coding, and reports, while ensuring inventory of medical supplies and instruments is up-to-date.
- Provide mentorship to new staff members and physician assistant students, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing within the department.
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to our computerized medical recordkeeping and billing system.
Additionally, you will need to hold current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and certifications in ATLS, BCLS upon hire. A strong understanding of HIPAA compliance principles is also required.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary range for this position is $107,097 - $113,047 per year, based on industry standards and regional compensation levels. This figure is subject to change based on performance and qualifications.
