Job Summary:
Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a travel Ultrasound Technologist. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and other diagnostic imaging devices
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including ultrasound images and other diagnostic imaging modalities
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and imaging results
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Current ARDMS certification in Ultrasound
- 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or Ultrasound Technologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
