Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care to individuals with complex medical conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Job Summary:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating patient preferences and goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying needs and developing plans to address them.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families, promoting coping skills and resilience.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient care.
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a PCU or ICU environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
