Job Title: Adjunct Instructor Pool - Information Technology Specialist

Location: Centralia College

Job Type: Adjunct Faculty

Job Description:

The Information Technology Instructor is responsible for teaching a range of introductory computer science topics, including software development, database management, web development, and programming languages. Curriculum uses a predominantly Microsoft stack.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach introductory computer science courses, including software development, database management, web development, and programming languages.
  • Develop and implement curriculum using a predominantly Microsoft stack.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in computer science education.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, database management, or related field.
  • Experience teaching computer science courses or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

Centralia College faculty are represented by the Centralia College Federation of Teachers, Local No. 4469, AFT/AAFL-CIO.

Adjunct employment is ongoing and filled based on need.

Compensation:

Current lecture/lab rates ($886.41 - $1,358.22 per credit)
