Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our PACU, you will be part of a dynamic team that is focused on fostering educational opportunities, specialty certifications, and clinical ladder. Our nurses serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. You will participate in a teamwork environment where you will be responsible for helping everyone in the department. You will monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in PACU required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia through the Board of Health Professions or Current Compact Multistate License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification.
  • PALS certifications preferred.
