Empowering Women Entrepreneurs

We are seeking an experienced Business Innovation Strategist to provide strategic assistance and guidance to women entrepreneurs as they develop and grow their businesses. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fostering entrepreneurship, with a focus on women in underserved communities.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends strategic thinking with operational support. The Business Innovation Strategist will act as a key resource for program participants, supporting their innovative efforts and ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Coordination: Support the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of programs designed to assist women entrepreneurs. Ensure that all program elements align with the mission of supporting innovation and business growth.
  • Innovative Strategy Support: Assist in the development and execution of creative strategies for entrepreneurs, helping them identify opportunities for business growth, product development, and market differentiation.
  • Resource Development: Curate and provide resources—tools, templates, and best practices—that support women entrepreneurs in scaling their businesses and solving operational challenges.
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Offer one-on-one support and mentorship to program participants, providing guidance on innovative business practices, market entry strategies, and sustainable growth tactics.
  • Collaborative Environment: Foster an environment of collaboration among program participants, encouraging knowledge sharing and networking among women entrepreneurs.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Monitor participant progress and program impact through regular check-ins, feedback loops, and data collection. Help ensure that key metrics are met and that participants are progressing toward their business goals.
  • Problem Solving & Support: Address any barriers to success by providing strategic advice and actionable solutions to participants. Facilitate creative problem-solving and continuous improvement within the program.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with external partners, stakeholders, and community organizations to expand resources and opportunities for women entrepreneurs, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years in program management, innovation support, or entrepreneurship, preferably with experience in supporting women entrepreneurs or businesses in underserved markets.
  • Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities. Comfortable with problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of business innovation strategies, growth strategies, and the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in diverse sectors. Experience with startup ecosystems is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex ideas and support individuals in both group and one-on-one settings.
  • Passion for Empowerment: A deep passion for empowering women entrepreneurs and contributing to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the business world.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
