Job Summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle GA is seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to oversee the implementation and operations of our nursing education program. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, consultation, and support to ensure the program's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the program's overall strategy and direction
  • Review and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with instructors to resolve student issues and provide support
  • Develop and maintain program materials, including curriculum and instructional resources
  • Ensure effective instruction and documentation of student progress
  • Assist with recruitment and selection of students for each class
  • Develop and maintain equipment and instructional materials necessary for classroom instruction
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, discussions, and presentations to enhance student learning
  • Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess student performance
  • Coordinate clinicals, testing, and other program activities
  • Motivate students to actively participate in the educational process
  • Communicate program updates and issues to the Program Manager
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with two (2) years of nursing experience
  • One (1) year of nursing experience as an RN in a long-term care facility
  • Experience in teaching adults and/or supervising nurse aides
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, independent judgment, organization, communication, time management, project management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and some weekend assignments
