Position Highlights:

The Dietitian will provide essential Medical Nutrition Therapy to clients, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team. This role encompasses various treatment programs designed to support individuals in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the Nutrition Care Process Terminology (NCPT) to deliver tailored nutritional care to clients.
  • Conduct nutrition education sessions addressing the specific needs of clients, both individually and in group formats.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary treatment team discussions, ensuring effective communication regarding Medical Nutrition Therapy.
  • Complete nutrition assessments for new admissions and transfers within the required timeframe.
  • Utilize both electronic and paper medical records for accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Coordinate with food service to address unique dietary needs and gather client feedback on meal satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional credentials as a registered and licensed dietitian, including fulfilling continuing education requirements.
Qualifications for Success:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Current licensure to practice as a Dietitian in the State of Missouri.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of professional experience as a Dietitian post-licensure in Missouri or registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
