Clinical Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Labcorp. In this role, you will be responsible for determining the acceptability of specimens for testing, performing routine and complex technical procedures, and monitoring instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results
- Prepare and test new reagents or controls
- Report test results in a timely manner to deliver quality patient care
- Assist with processing of specimens as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems
- High level of attention to detail and strong communication skills
