Overview:
Dollar General is seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to lead our retail store team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department managers.
- Implement sales strategies and promotions to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and shrinkage.
- Collaborate with district managers and other store managers to share best practices and achieve company goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
