Overview:
Dollar General Corporation is a leading retailer with a rich history of serving customers and communities. As a Store Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions:
Frequent walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to run check out stations, stock merchandise, and unload trucks.
