We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This part-time position will be working with a local school district, providing essential services to students in grades K-12th.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate should have minimum 1+ years of experience as a School Psychologist, with active licensure from the Virginia Department of Education. The successful applicant will work on a contract basis and will not be required to work contracted hours beyond their specified schedule.

Salary and Benefits:

This part-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $40 per hour, along with medical, dental, and vision benefits. A 401(k) matching program is also available for eligible employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and emotional challenges of targeted students
  • Collaborate with all service providers to develop and implement strategies to address concerns from assessments
  • Work with the IEP team if necessary to ensure equal access to educational and psychological services

The selected candidate will undergo an informal prescreening process with recruiters at ProCare Therapy to ensure their qualifications meet the requirements. A 30-minute Zoom interview with the school or district department lead will follow, and in some cases, a second interview may be requested where the applicant visits the campus.
